Privacy Policy

This page explains what Jaunts does with your information.

The short version: Jaunts doesn’t collect any.

What Jaunts stores, and where

Your trips, the photos and videos you chose, the order you put them in, your notes, dates and places, are stored on your phone. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server of ours. Nothing you put in Jaunts is sent to us.

iCloud sync

If you purchase Jaunts Premium and turn on iCloud sync, your data is kept in your own iCloud account so it stays with you across your devices. It goes from your device to Apple’s iCloud and back; we have no access to it. Syncing uses space in your own iCloud account and is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

None. Jaunts has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party software inside it. It does not track you.

Where the app connects

The only network requests Jaunts makes go to Apple: place-name lookup for a photo’s coordinates, Apple Maps for the world map, iCloud sync when you turn it on, and the App Store for the one-time purchase. Location services may also contact Apple to fix your position when you take a photo in the app. Those requests go to Apple, not to us, and are covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

Permissions

Jaunts asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it: the camera, the microphone and your location when you take a photo inside the app, permission to add a photo to Apple Photos if you choose to save a shot there, and Face ID if you turn on App Lock.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app itself removes everything Jaunts stored on that iPhone; data already synced stays in your own iCloud account until you remove it there — Jaunts has no control over that and provides no in-app way to erase it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with the date it took effect.
